Every business has a story, and ours began in our schools. As educators, we’ve always loved building community and showing school spirit. What started as a fun idea to create shirts for our colleagues quickly grew into something much bigger and more meaningful.

Our journey began with a simple wish: to create something special for our colleagues. We aimed to foster unity and pride among our staff, so we began designing custom t-shirts that expressed our school spirit. The excitement in our brainstorming sessions was contagious as we considered ideas, colors, and designs that would resonate with fellow educators.

When we saw our colleagues wearing the shirts, their smiles were unmistakable. In fact, our first holiday season saw a 150% increase in orders compared to our initial months, revealing that we were onto something significant.

The Birth of Two Peas Creations

With encouragement from friends and colleagues, we took the leap and officially launched Two Peas Creations. The name felt natural; we’ve always been “two peas in a pod,” and starting this business was another way to nurture our shared passion.

Late nights turned into early mornings as we balanced education with business. We poured love and care into each order and learned the ins and outs of the custom shirt business—from design software to printing techniques. Each shirt we created reflected our passion for creativity and the community that supported us.

As demand for our custom shirts continued to climb, we faced a crucial decision. Balancing education and running a business became increasingly challenging. After careful consideration, I decided to step away from education and dedicate myself full time to Two Peas Creations.

This leap of faith was both exciting and daunting. I recognized that focusing solely on the business would enable us to expand our offerings and reach more customers. With over 200 unique designs created in our first year, I knew it was time to embrace this challenge wholeheartedly.
